Making God's Love Known

This is our mission. It helps us to focus on the important stuff. Making God's Love Known is the answer to the question, "What are we supposed to be doing?"

Please take note of the following important information.
Please help us in working towards being a nut safe facility. When bringing food/snacks into our building, avoid all nut products. Thank you!

Go to https://tithe.ly/give

Create an account.

Our church name should show up at the top of the big green box (if not, just do a search for it).

NEW: you can choose from 3 options – ‘give’, ‘youth events’, ‘other’ – there is also an option to include a note.

The only payment method we are set up for is Credit Card.

Continue to follow the instructions - you can set up your donation as a one-time payment OR as a recurring payment.

You have the option of covering the processing fee – otherwise we pay the fee.

You can also get the FREE Tithe.ly mobile giving app (iOS & Android) at https://get.tithe.ly

With most credit unions, you can set up the ELM CREEK MENNONITE BRETHREN CHURCH as a Bill Payee.

Email Lori at treasurer@elmcreekmb.com for your account number.

You can set up your donation as a one-time payment OR as a recurring payment.

You must be set up for online banking with your financial institution.

Send your etransfer to treasurer@elmcreekmb.com

You will have to set up a security phrase with a password.

NEW:  use password ‘ecmb’ or email Lori if you want to use something different (if you have used etransfer before, continue to use the phrase/password that you first set up)

We have decided to open up the library on a trial basis, following health safety protocols.  Because books need to "decontaminate" for 72 hours, books will only be available for signing out on Wednesdays and Thursdays when church staff is around to open the library.

Please call ahead to the church to insure somebody is available. (204) 436-2290

We ask that you please:

- use the available hand sanitizer before entering and after leaving the library

- limit your time in the library to respect those opening it for you and others that may be waiting to use it.

- limit library occupancy to 3 (unless from the same family) and practice social distancing.

- limit yourself to 3 books per person. The two week rental still applies.

There will be boxes labeled "Book Return" placed at the two sanctuary entrances as well as outside the library door.  Please return your books there and DO NOT remove books from these boxes.

Thank you

Library Committee

The Carman Refugee Support Committee was excited to welcome the Mohammad family to Carman in November 2019! They are adjusting well and are so thankful to be in Canada. Due to Covid-19, the ability to find full time employment has been delayed due to a postponed medical procedure. The committee has decided to raise further funds in order to support the family into early 2021.  We realize this is a difficult financial time for many – your financial support will have a huge positive impact on the Mohammad’s. A big thank you to all who made donations when the fundraising campaign first began!  All donations will receive a tax deductible donation receipt.  Cheques can be made out to ‘Elm Creek MB Church’ (with a note indicating ‘refugee support’) and given to Lori (Len) Wiebe or Lori Schroeder or mailed/dropped off at the church. Thank you!
Winkler Bible Camp Fall Fundraising Supper on September 22, 4:30pm-7:30pm.  It will be a traditional thanksgiving meal and all funds raised go towards our general budget.
This will be a drive-through event and will follow all COVID-19 regulations and precautions. You will be required to stay in your vehicle the entire time.

God is listening to you and God is speaking to you.

Please pray for these items as you spend time with your heavenly Father.
